All of us are on a journey and I’m no different from anyone else. Our lives are made up of many journeys, some longer than others. Some you enter and leave and then enter again as you move through life. This coming and going in our many journeys is what gives life, well, LIFE.
To often we simply move through our lives journeys without taking much notice until something makes us stop and take notice. That happened to me in July of 2009. I was on a solo camping trip in Eastern Arizona where I had my moment and the reality of my many and varied journeys came surging to the forefront of my consciousness.
Those 5 days in the mountains and the encouragement of many of you is what led me to create this blog. The only purpose for me spending time working on it is because I am convinced that all of us have something to share that can cause a change in others lives. I would be the last to imply that what I have to say about anything has much merit. But if by sharing using this medium someone is changed or finds humor, enjoyment or whatever, then it will be worth it.
So welcome to my blog. I hope you return often, comment often and contribute your two cents to the thought lines.
All are welcome here and remember, “we’re all in this journey together.”
Richard
Richard,
Your site has a beautiful, meditative quality that is a comfort to look at. Your writting style and content will no dout take it to an even higher level. I encourage you to keep it up and I look forward to retreating to these pages as often as life allows.
Another ordinary man,
Joe
Richard,
Nicely done…sorry to hear about your Mom, but can’t help thinking about the possible re-birth of her Spirit through you in this blog. Best wishes to a friend and neighbor.
Another Extra-ordinary traveler,
Ron
Your poetry brought peace to my soul which had been encountering a troublesome day. Looking forward to meeting with you again after all these years and catching up on our life experiences.
