Do you want to do something that will help someone else better their life and that of their families? I’m of the mind that if we help others in other lands improve their lot in life then they will benefit, their community will benefit and in some cases, maybe they will not have a reason to come to this country illegally. So I have joined Kiva.org. This is a non-profit mentoring organization that helps people help themselves. I want to encourage all my readers to check out their website and if you are so inclined then join up and help someone help themselves by making a Micro-loan. I did and have since received two payments back to me. By in large Kiva Micro Loans assist individuals in getting their business started or expanding and maintaining their business.
If you are like me you can probably think of how you have wasted $25 dollars in any given year. So check it out and do something positive for our fellow-man. And, all loans are tax deductible.
Here is their URL; www.Kiva.org
Let me know your thoughts, or if you make a loan tell me about it.
…just another journey…

I have been a lender with Kiva for over three years. I started with $200 and keep relending as loans are paid back. Rolling over each loan has made it possible for me to
make 250 loans. I have added another $200 recently to enlarge my loaning capabilities.
Your latest blog is great writing as usual.
